 Bought this from another retailer with the i5 processor, which was more than enough speed.ASUS ViVoBook S500CA-DS51T 15.6-Inch Laptop ( Black ) I hadn't had any slowdowns even before I upgraded certain items.ASUS ViVoBook S500CA-DS51T 15.6-Inch Laptop ( Black ) Windows 8 takes a bit to get used to but so far I like it. I'm getting more used to the app OS's like Android so the mixture in Windows 8 is becoming more convenient.ASUS ViVoBook S500CA-DS51T 15.6-Inch Laptop ( Black )
I still like the 15" size over the smaller sizes so this was the way to go for me. I also find it convenient to have a keypad on the laptop since it cuts some inefficiency when doing a lot of accounting work.ASUS ViVoBook S500CA-DS51T 15.6-Inch Laptop ( Black ) I also felt that if I were to get a new laptop with Win 8 I'd have to go touchscreen and that, I feel, has been a great advantage - makes surfing the web and other tasks much quicker than using a mouse.

This laptop may only have an i3 but it still is really fast. Its super light and really well built. The screen looks great. ASUS Zenbook UX32A-DB31 13.3-Inch Ultrabook

One important thing I did that made this laptop even more of a deal was to:
Format the SSD drive and install Windows on it.ASUS Zenbook UX32A-DB31 13.3-Inch Ultrabook This allows the laptop to boot to Windows all on the SSD and really speeds everything up.ASUS Zenbook UX32A-DB31 13.3-Inch Ultrabook It also clears up any asus bloatware and allows you to install only what you need.ASUS Zenbook UX32A-DB31 13.3-Inch Ultrabook Also after installing Office and some other key programs to the SSD, and turning of the page file and hibernation I have 11gb free.ASUS Zenbook UX32A-DB31 13.3-Inch Ultrabook Other than that I plan to install most programs on the traditional hdd.

      I received this laptop about four days ago and still in the process of removing and loading software.ASUS N56VJ-DH71 15.6-Inch Full-HD 1080P Laptop Started with the standard operating procedure, Windows updates and removing McAfee (this requires a special removal tool from the McAfee website to do a clean uninstall).ASUS N56VJ-DH71 15.6-Inch Full-HD 1080P Laptop Had trouble with the wireless connection crashing and had to call Asus customer support who directed my to their website to download a new driver for the Atheros AR9485-EG wireless adaptor.ASUS N56VJ-DH71 15.6-Inch Full-HD 1080P Laptop Seems to have taken care of the problem from what I can tell. 1920 x 1080 resolution is nice - most models with that resolution are $1,200 or more.... 750 GB and 6 GB ram - great specs.ASUS N56VJ-DH71 15.6-Inch Full-HD 1080P Laptop Having some problem with the spacebar. I type about 70 w/minute and it doesn't respond as well as I am used to unless I hit it dead center and pretty firm.ASUS N56VJ-DH71 15.6-Inch Full-HD 1080P Laptop Other people reported a similar problem after researching this issue in forums.      It cold boots in six seconds and wakes up from suspend-to-RAM in two; ASUS UX31A-DH51 13.3-Inch Zenbook ( Silver Aluminum ) the IPS screen is excellent and the i5 CPU, 4 GB RAM, and SSD give the system incredible speed.ASUS UX31A-DH51 13.3-Inch Zenbook ( Silver Aluminum ) There are some downsides: I'm still getting used to the trackpad (no distinct buttons - a first for me), and it isn't quite as thin as the marketing pictures would suggest (though the listed product dimensions are accurate),ASUS UX31A-DH51 13.3-Inch Zenbook ( Silver Aluminum ) but I think this laptop is a great deal for $800.

     I've had this laptop for about a week now and have generally been happy with it, though with a couple of caveats.ASUS G750JW-DB71 17.3-Inch Laptop (Black) First impression on unboxing: this thing is HUGE! It's both large and heavy, neither of which particularly bothers me (and of course, I saw the 9.9lb weight going in).
